This position combines direct clinical care with strategic leadership, supporting inpatient and community services for older adults with complex conditions.
Key responsibilities include: • Providing psychiatric care to older adults in inpatient and community settings • Leading governance, service development, and quality improvement • Mentoring junior medical staff • Working with teams to deliver person-centred, culturally safe care • Aligning care with NBMLHD’s strategic vision About the Service Nepean Hospital’s Older Persons Mental Health Unit is part of a mental health centre including PECC, Acute Unit, and HDU.
