STAT and Medrecruit are joining forces

STAT and Medrecruit, two medical recruitment businesses working across New Zealand and Australia, are joining forces.

Both countries need more doctors, in more places. Hospitals carry vacancies for months. Communities outside the main centres wait longest. And the doctors already doing the work carry the gap in the meantime. Getting the right doctor to the right place, quickly, is only a part of how that gets better - but it is the part we can do something about, and together we can do more of it.

STAT has spent more than 25 years earning the trust of the doctors, and of the hospitals, health providers and GP clinics that rely on them. Medrecruit has spent 20 years working only for doctors, and building the tools that make finding and managing work easier. Between them, doctors should be found sooner and looked after better, and the places that need them should wait less.

STAT and Medrecruit are joining forces. A conditional agreement has been reached for Stat to join the Medenterprises Group of Companies, with the transaction expected to complete in October. It is business as usual for both businesses, and for the doctors and health providers they work with.
