Job Description:

Locum cover is required for:

  • Most urgent weeks needed (Endoscopy not a must for these shifts):
    • Friday 17th July 0730 or 1700 – Monday 20th July 0800: on call weekend – URGENT
    • Monday 31st August 0730 – Friday 4th September 1700: at least 1 x on call day
    • Friday 4th September 0730 – Monday 7th September 0800: on call weekend


  • Other weeks needed (must be able to do Endoscopy, upper &/or lower):
    • Monday 6th July 0730 – Friday 10th July 0800 (Friday is public holiday so just handover in the AM): at least 1 x on call day
    • Monday 13th July 0730 – Friday 17th July 0730: at least 1 x on call day
    • Monday 3rd August 0730 – Friday 7th August 1700: at least 1 x on call day
    • Monday 14th September 0730 – Friday 18th September 1700: at least 1 x on call day
    • Monday 21st September 0730 – Friday 25th September 1700: at least 1 x on call day
    • Monday 5th October 0730 – Friday 9th October 1700: at least 1 x on call day
    • Monday 12th October 0730 – Friday 16th October 1700: at least 1 x on call day
    • Monday 2nd November 0730 – Friday 6th November 1700: at least 1 x on call day
    • Monday 30th November 0730 – Thursday 10th December 1700: at least 1 x on call day
    • Monday 7th December 0730 – Friday 11th December 1700: at least 1 x on call day

Client Description:

Location Information

The hospital is located in a large town in the Wairarapa region of the North Island, an hour north of Wellington. It has something for everyone and is the perfect base in which to explore the entire Wairarapa region. The rugged Tararua Mountains to the west and the wild Pacific Ocean to the east also help to create a sense of isolation and wonder. The Wairarapa region's wine and food make it a treasure trove for gourmets.
