This is a small 13 bed public rural hospital in WA, which caters for acute medical, paediatric, psychiatric inpatients, with maternity and trauma patients awaiting RFDS transfer.
 
The hospital provides 24 hour outpatient and emergency service, with doctor on call for all of that time.
 
The hospital employs three resident general medical practitioner (who see patients during the week) and provide visiting services weekly to surrounding communities.
 
Location Information
 
This region is known as the oasis of the Kimberly, sitting on the edge of the Great Sandy Desert. The rugged terrain and many places of interest make this growing town attractive to those wishing a lifestyle change.
