About the Role

This role sits within the Surgery & ICU Division at a major regional hospital in Ipswich, supporting a growing peri‑operative service. You will provide high‑quality adult and paediatric anaesthesia care, clinically manage multidisciplinary teams, and contribute to safe, efficient peri‑operative patient outcomes.

The department is accredited for registrar training with ANZCA, CICM, RACGP and GchPOM, with opportunities to be involved in peri‑operative medicine, education, simulation and service development. Teaching, supervision and mentoring of junior medical staff is a core component of the role.

About You

You will have:

• Fellowship of ANZCA (or equivalent) with AHPRA specialist registration
• Experience in general adult and paediatric anaesthesia
• Current advanced life support competency
• Interest in education, supervision, audit and quality improvement
