• Thursday 8 January and Friday 9 January 2026, 8a-4p (Gen Med)
• Monday 12 January and Tuesday 13 January 2026, 8a-4p (Gen Med)
• Thursday 22 January and Friday 23 January 2026, 8a-4p (Gen Surg)
• Monday 26 January to Tuesday 3 February 2026, 8a-4p (Gen Med) - excludes weekend
• Monday 26 January to Thursday 5 February 2026, 8a-10p Mon, 8a-4p Tues (Gen Surg)
• Monday 26 January and Tuesday 27 January 2026, 8a-4p (Paeds/Ortho)
• Saturday 31 January and Sunday 1 February 2026, weekend ward duties, 8a-10p Sat, 8a-4p Sun
• Monday 9 February to Friday 13 February 2026, 8a-4p (Gen Surg) with long day Mon/Tues (both or one)
• Thursday 12 February and Friday 13 February 2026, 8a-4p (Gen Med)
• Friday 20 February to Sunday 22 February 2026, weekend ward duties, 3p-8p Fri, 8a-4p Sat, 8a-10p Sun

Position Details:

• Must be PGY3+

This medical centre is based within the largest town within the West Coast in the South Island of New Zealand.  The centre is a busy GP clinic with a patient base close to 5750.

Location Information

The nearest domestic airport is 39 km from the medical centre and serviced by direct, 45-minute flights from Christchurch. The airport offers an extensive range of car rental options as well as a direct shuttle service from the airport to the town where the hospital is based.

For those who are driving please note that the town is a 3.5 hour drive from Christchurch and 9 hours from Invercargill.
