About the Role

An exciting opportunity for a General Surgery Service Registrar to join a regional surgical service. Working under the supervision of Consultant Surgeons, you will provide care across inpatient, outpatient, and perioperative settings while contributing to multidisciplinary care, education, and quality improvement initiatives. This role offers excellent exposure to a broad range of surgical presentations within a supportive training environment. International candidates can be considered.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality surgical care.
• Assist with inpatient, outpatient, and perioperative management.
• Participate in multidisciplinary patient care.
• Contribute to teaching and quality improvement activities.
• Support safe and effective clinical outcomes.

Essential Criteria

• Bachelor of Medicine (or equivalent).
• Current AHPRA registration or eligibility.
• Relevant postgraduate clinical experience.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Sound clinical decision-making ability.
• Interest in General Surgery and rural healthcare.
