Orthopaedic Service Registrar – Orthopaedic Surgery

Location: Mount Gambier, SA

Employment Type: Fixed Term Full-Time

Salary: MDP2 | $99,707 - $158,523 p.a. + 12% Super + Leave Loading + Salary Packaging

Start Date: 2027

About the Role

Join a supportive regional Orthopaedic team and work alongside experienced Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeons. Provide care across inpatient, outpatient and perioperative settings while developing surgical skills in a strong training environment focused on education, quality improvement and multidisciplinary care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver orthopaedic care across clinical settings.
  • Assess, manage and coordinate patient care.
  • Assist with surgical procedures under supervision.
  • Participate in teaching, training and quality improvement.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimise outcomes.

Essential Criteria

  • Bachelor of Medicine (or equivalent).
  • Current AHPRA registration or eligibility.
  • Relevant postgraduate clinical experience.
  • Strong communication, teamwork and clinical decision-making skills.
  • Interest in pursuing Orthopaedic Surgery.
  • Full Australian working rights.
  • International candidates can be considered.
