Consultant Orthopaedic Spinal Surgeon

About the Role
Our client is looking for a Spinal Surgeon to join a fabulous department with their Hospital. This is for a permanent position, with travel as required to our rural in the mid and far north regions. You will be part of a well-supported collegial Department with nine other Senior Consultants and eight Registrars, including three Trainees and four House Officers.
The role includes supervision of acute operating lists both spinal and general orthopaedic; leading ward rounds, clinics, elective operating (particularly spines), on call duties within the SMO team and involvement in audit; teaching, undertaking research and participating in continuing professional development.
