Client Description:

This 44-bed hospital is located in the South Island of New Zealand, approximately 120 km North of Dunedin on the pacific coast. 

It is the only hospital providing secondary level healthcare services to the surrounding district, with a catchment area of approximately 22,000.

There are multiple services at the hospital including:

• Gastroenterology & Hepatology (Liver)
• Genetics
• Intensive Care
• Maternity
• Oncology
• Paediatrics

Location Information

The town is 80 km south of Timaru and 120 km North of Dunedin, on the Pacific coast.
 
With a population of 13,850 this town is the third largest in Otago behind Dunedin and Queenstown.

The district is known for its stunning natural beauty, with lush rolling farmland, ancient marine landscapes and grand Victorian Architecture. Recreational opportunities abound, the lifestyle is laid back, and the community is friendly.
