About the Role

Opportunity for a Psychiatrist to provide specialist mental health care across inpatient, community and mental health emergency settings. You will be responsible for patient care, conduct inpatient and outpatient consultations, participate in multidisciplinary clinics, and contribute to a collaborative, consumer-focused service. International candidates can be considered.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver specialist psychiatric assessment and treatment.
• Provide inpatient and outpatient consultations.
• Work across acute, hospital and community mental health services.
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and clinics.
• Supervise and mentor registrars, junior doctors and medical students.
• Support research, quality improvement and clinical governance activities.

Essential Criteria

• Fellowship of RANZCP or equivalent specialist qualification.
• Eligible for Specialist Registration with AHPRA.
• Experience in acute, inpatient and community psychiatry.
• Strong communication, leadership and teamwork skills.
• Commitment to teaching, supervision and service improvement.
