Job Description:

Join a leading private practice specializing in Parkinson’s disease, Tourette’s syndrome, and Essential Tremor, with a strong focus on Deep Brain Stimulation (DBS).

About the Role

  • Permanent/ongoing position only (no locums).
  • Face-to-face consultations in clinic (no telehealth).
  • Flexible hours within 8am–4pm, no after-hours or on-call.
  • Start date: ASAP, but willing to wait for the right candidate.

Ideal Candidate

  • Current AHPRA Specialist Registration (or eligibility without supervision).
  • Adult Psychiatry qualifications and experience required; Geriatric Psychiatry qualification highly desirable, but no essential
  • Interest in movement disorders and DBS pre-surgical assessments (training provided).
  • Open to psychiatrists from varied backgrounds with a willingness to learn.
  • NZ candidates welcome.
  • (Cannot provide supervision for IMGs.)
