Salary: MP Year 1-9: $412,161-$523,436 p.a. pro rata (incl. 12% super and PD allowance)

About the Role

Join a well-established Adult Mental Health Service providing care across community, inpatient and consultation-liaison settings. Part-time roles may focus on Consultation Liaison Psychiatry, while full-time positions can combine Consultation Liaison and General Adult Psychiatry. The service includes a 16-bed inpatient unit, community teams and strong multidisciplinary support.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose and treat adult mental health patients
• Provide care across inpatient, community and consultation-liaison services
• Liaise with GPs and multidisciplinary teams
• Supervise junior medical staff and trainees
• Participate in on-call, ECT, education and quality improvement activities

Essential Criteria

• Eligible for Specialist Registration in Psychiatry with AHPRA
• FRANZCP or eligible for Fellowship
• Adult Psychiatry experience
• Consultation Liaison experience desirable

Situated on the southern coast of Western Australia, just over 400km from Perth, this hospital has a capacity of 108 beds, and its wards/departments are staffed by highly trained, specialist personnel. There is a 10 bed maternity ward, which handles some 450 deliveries per year, and a 10 bed paediatric ward.
