Job Description:
Locum cover is required from 22 September 2025 - 29 January 2026.
Position Details:
- Shift times: 0830 - 1700
- Consultant/Specialist/VMO
- 2 days per week - preference Wednesday and Thursday.
- Face to face is preferred at $2750/day but would consider Telehealth at $2500/day.

Please note that all rates are inclusive of superannuation, taxes, and casual loading, where applicable.
Client Description:
With this opportunity you will be joining a health service which delivers comprehensive and specialist mental health services across the Hunter New England Health District.
They are committed to serving mental health consumers and carers, to providing training and education and to running an active research and evaluation program.
Specialist services include:
- Mental health and substance use
- Psychiatric rehabilitation
- Neuropsychiatry
- Consultation liaison psychiatry
- Centre for Psychotherapy
- Forensic services
The hospital is located in a harbour city in the state of NSW and is roughly a 2-hour drive from Sydney. Situated in the heart of the Hunter Region and is bordered by a stunning coastline with beautiful beaches.
