About the Role 

Broken Hill Hospital is seeking a versatile and committed Consultant Psychiatrist to join its expanding mental health team. This multifaceted role includes: 

• Providing psychiatric care in the new Acute Mental Health Inpatient Unit (8 beds) designed for short- to medium-term admissions  
• Delivering consult-liaison services across the hospital, including the Emergency Department and general wards. 
• Supporting community mental health services, including outreach, case management, and recovery-oriented care. 

You will work within a multidisciplinary team and contribute to service development, supervision of junior staff, and integration of culturally safe practices.
