Staff Specialist / Senior Lecturer – Paediatrics

An exciting opportunity is available for a qualified Paediatrician to join a leading health service in Tasmania as a Staff Specialist / Senior Lecturer. This permanent role offers the chance to combine clinical excellence with teaching and academic involvement while enjoying the outstanding lifestyle Tasmania has to offer. You will be part of a collaborative paediatric team providing inpatient and outpatient services, adolescent health care, and participation in the on-call roster. The role also includes opportunities to contribute to teaching, training, and academic activities.

Position Details

• Permanent full-time position commencing from December 2026
• Up to 76 hours per fortnight
• Part-time arrangements may be considered where full service requirements can be met
• Involvement across inpatient, outpatient, paediatric, adolescent, and on-call services

Remuneration & Benefits

• Salary package from $222,789 to $319,701 AUD per annum (pro rata) plus 12% superannuation

• Fully maintained private plated motor vehicle or motor vehicle allowance of $30,254 per annum (pro rata)
• Potential additional earnings through private patient arrangements
