Specialist Consultant

Locum cover is required from 1 April - 29 October 2024. 

Position Details:

• Shift times: 0800 - 0800
• Covering: On call, ward round and clinic duties 
• Days of work can potentially be flexible depending on availability – for example 2.5 days every week; 2 and 3 days/fortnight; 1 week on/1 week off.
• $125.71 - $169.85 per hour depending on experience.

This is a 484-bed public hospital, 76km North of Sydney CBD, and provides a range of medical, surgical and maternity services to the Central Coast Region of NSW. The hospital's emergency department is the third busiest in the state.

Location Information 

The area is known for its splendid natural setting, tourist attractions and thriving business industries. With a mild climate, ocean beaches, bushland and forests, as well as its proximity to Sydney, it is a popular holiday destination. The nearest major airport is 85 km from the hospital. From Sydney’s CBD, there is a direct train service to the hospital which takes 1.5 hours.
