Job Description:
Join a department that offers a full spectrum of general Obstetrics and Gynaecology services, with strong links to tertiary centres in Auckland for Gynaecological Oncology, Maternal-Fetal Medicine, Neonatal Care, and Fertility. Each year, over 2,000 births take place across Northland’s primary and secondary facilities.
As a Consultant Obstetrician & Gynaecologist, you’ll be based at Whangārei Hospital and provide visiting services to three rural hospitals. You’ll be part of a 1:8 acute O&G roster, working closely with House Officers and advanced trainees, and playing a hands-on role in acute patient care.
