Job Description:
- Permanent, full-time role (up to 1.0 FTE negotiable)
- Salary - $250k upwards depending on experience (ASMS MECA 2024 (NZD 185,380 - 267,980)
About the role
Our client has an exciting opportunity for you to embark on a new challenge living in a unique and attractive location in beautiful Aotearoa. They are seeking a highly motivated Medical Oncologist to join our friendly team on a permanent basis.
The Blood and Cancer Service provides a team of eight medical oncologists and one nurse practitioner, five radiation oncologists and six haematologists working in a tertiary referral centre with strong links to the School of Medicine at Otago University.
The Hospital is a 350-bed teaching and training institution that offers a full complement of sub-specialities and a training site for the Royal Australasian College of Physicians. As such, they encourage and support staff research and their continuing medical education. Their Service has a solid research program and we would welcome applications from Physicians with a sub-speciality interest or those with an interest in teaching.
