Specialist Consultant

Our client is advertising an opportunity for an Infectious Disease Specialist to permanently join their team at a Public Hospital in TAS.

The ideal start date for this position is ASAP.

Position Details:

• Experience in management of the clinical microbiology service including bench-level advice.
• Experience in communication of critical microbiology results to the treating teams.
• To be prepared for regular interaction with the hospital’s infectious diseases service and the infection control unit.
• Teaching and research skills.
• Good understanding of laboratory safety.
