Job Description:

Locum cover is required from 4 - 22 April 2026

Position Details:

  • Shift times: 0800 - 0800


Please note that all rates are inclusive of superannuation, taxes, and casual loading, where applicable.

Client Description:

Located in rural Queensland, 250 km north-west of Brisbane, this hospital provides a range of health services including:

  • Outpatients
  • A&E
  • Chronic inpatient
  • Aged, respite and palliative care
  • Radiology
  • Pathology
There is a helipad on-site and a designated palliative care unit, alongside a number of allied, community and oral health staff.
 
Location information
 
The hospital is located in a pleasant rural service centre. In some ways this is a typical rural Queensland town, but has a number of special attractions, including:
  • Excellent museum with a number of historic houses
  • Lookout offering a fine vantage point of the town
  • One of the few functioning flying foxes left in Australia
  • A town clock in the shape of a citrus tree
