Job Description:

Locum cover is required from 4 - 8 May 2026.


Please note that all rates are inclusive of superannuation, taxes, and casual loading, where applicable.

Client Description:

This is a private practice attached to a community hospital in TAS.

Visiting and on-site allied health and pathology services:

  • Optometrists
  • Psychologist
  • Midwife clinics
  • Child Health
  • Geriatrician
  • Paediatrician
The practice has the capacity for two full time doctors who are supported by a full time CDM trained Registered Nurse and practice staff.

Location information

The clinic is located in a town 90 minutes’ drive south of Burnie on the West Coast of Tasmania.

This is a mining community – the mine dominating the small townscape. However, being held so close by the surrounding hills, the town has an unexpected visual appeal.

Don’t miss the opportunity to visit Tasmania’s highest waterfall, which has a scenic track just 10 minutes from the town.
