This is a 484-bed public hospital, 76km North of Sydney CBD, and provides a range of medical, surgical and maternity services to the Central Coast Region of NSW. The hospital's emergency department is the third busiest in the state.

Location Information 

The area is known for its splendid natural setting, tourist attractions and thriving business industries. With a mild climate, ocean beaches, bushland and forests, as well as its proximity to Sydney, it is a popular holiday destination. The nearest major airport is 85 km from the hospital. From Sydney’s CBD, there is a direct train service to the hospital which takes 1.5 hours.
