Job Description:

Locum cover is required ASAP - 3 months. 

Position Details:

  • Shift times: Various shifts, includes a mixture of day, evening and overnight on call shifts (Roster completed a fortnight to a month in advance). 
  • Rural Generalists with Advanced Skills Training in: Obstetrics (DRANZCOG Adv, or equivalent) / Emergency / Anaesthetics (JCCA, or equivalent)  
  • Possibility of extension.

Client Description:

This is a modern rural health care facility located in Queensland’s Scenic Rim region. The hospital has provided quality health care services to the local community for 115 years.

They provide a range of speciality services including:

  • General medicine and surgery
  • Birthing services
  • Antenatal and postnatal care
  • Palliative care
  • Mental health and oral health
  • 24-hour emergency department
The return of procedural services means the hospital can now provide a range of minor surgical procedures under local and general anaesthetic, allowing local residents to receive treatment closer to home.

Location information

The hospital is located in a small quaint country town rich in authentic rural experiences.
