Job Description:

General Practitioner | Clendon Medical Centre | South Auckland

Make a real difference in a diverse, community-focused practice while enjoying the support of an experienced and collaborative team.

Our client is looking for a GP to join a busy, whānau-centred practice located in the heart of Clendon, South Auckland, just 30 minutes from Auckland CBD. As a VLCA (Very Low Cost Access) provider, they are committed to improving health outcomes and ensuring accessible healthcare for a vibrant and multicultural community.


You'll become part of a well-established multidisciplinary team consisting of:

  • 5 experienced GPs, including 4 Fellowed GPs
  • 2 Nurse Prescribers
  • 3 Registered Nurses
  • Health Coach and Health Improvement Practitioner
  • Dedicated administration and reception team
  • Experienced Business Manager


Their team reflects the diversity of the community we serve, with many staff speaking multiple languages and bringing valuable cultural perspectives to patient care.

  • Monday to Friday only
  • No after-hours requirements
  • Morning and afternoon clinics
  • 12 x 15-minute appointments per session
  • Full induction and comprehensive onboarding provided

  • Foundation Accredited practice
  • Modern cloud-based Medtech Evolution system and Manage My Health platform

 

About the Practice

The practice has approximately 7,100 enrolled patients, with a patient population that is predominantly Māori and Pasifika (67%), alongside a growing Asian community. Their collaborative environment ensures excellent collegial support, making this an ideal opportunity for both experienced GPs and those looking for a strong team culture.
