Our client is seeking a General Practitioner to join a well-established, community-focused practice in beautiful Napier. The team prides itself on delivering high-quality, relationship-based care in a collaborative, learning-oriented environment.

As a Foundation Accredited and CORNERSTONE CQI-engaged practice, they combine the warmth of a community setting with the professionalism of a progressive medical organisation. They are also proud to be the only GP specialist practice in New Zealand contracted by Te Whatu Ora for Gender Affirming Care, offering unique opportunities for clinicians passionate about inclusive healthcare.

• Supportive Team: 8 GPs, 9 nurses, pharmacists, health coaches, and a strong admin team.
• Full-site renovation underway to double clinical capacity.
• Structured Onboarding: Comprehensive induction and gradual ramp-up of patient load.
• Lifestyle: Enjoy Hawke’s Bay’s vineyards, beaches, and short commutes (most of the team live within 10 minutes of the practice).
• Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm
• After-hours: Shared roster via Napier Urgent Care (approx. 1 evening shift/month + 1 weekend shift every 10–11 weeks)
