Job Description:

Masterton are seeking a Physician to cover for:

  • Monday 19th 0800 – Friday 23rd October 1600: ward work + 1 x on call day 
  • Friday 23rd 0800 – Monday 26th October 1600: on call weekend with post take (or part of the weekend eg Friday and Saturday or Saturday and Sunday etc) please note that Monday 26th is a public holiday 
  • Monday 26th or Tuesday 27th 0800 – Friday 30th October 1600: ward work + at least 1 x on call day
  • Monday 9th November 0800 – Friday 13th November 1600: ward work + at least 1 x on call day
  • Monday 16th 0800 – Friday 20th November 1600: ward work + at least 1 x on call day (2 x locums needed) 
  • Friday 20th 0800 – Monday 23rd November 0800: on call weekend with post take (or part of the weekend eg Friday and Saturday or Saturday and Sunday etc)
  • Monday 23rd 0800 – Friday 27th November 1600: ward work + at least 1 x on call day
  • Monday 30th November 0800 – Friday 4th December 1600: ward work + at least 1 x on call day
  • Friday 4th 0800 – Sunday 6th December 1600: on call weekend with post take 
  • Friday 11th 0800 or 1600 – Sunday 13th December 1600: on call weekend with post take 
  • Friday 18th 0800 or 1600 – Sunday 20th December 1600: on call weekend with post take

Client Description:

Location Information

The hospital is located in a large town in the Wairarapa region of the North Island, an hour north of Wellington. It has something for everyone and is the perfect base in which to explore the entire Wairarapa region. The rugged Tararua Mountains to the west and the wild Pacific Ocean to the east also help to create a sense of isolation and wonder. The Wairarapa region's wine and food make it a treasure trove for gourmets.
