The Opportunity

An experienced and motivated General Medicine Physician is sought to join a dynamic multidisciplinary team within this expanding regional health service. The role involves providing high‑quality inpatient and outpatient care, supporting junior medical staff and contributing to service development across multiple facilities.

This position is ideal for a physician who enjoys a varied caseload, collaborative practice and the opportunity to influence service delivery in a growing regional setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver evidence‑based care to General Medicine inpatients and outpatients
• Participate in acute care, ward rounds, consult services and multidisciplinary meetings
• Supervise and mentor junior medical officers and trainees
• Contribute to clinical governance, quality improvement and service development
• Engage in teaching, research and ongoing professional development
• Participate in after‑hours and on‑call rosters as required

About You

• Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) or equivalent
• Registration or eligibility for registration with the Medical Board of Australia
• Demonstrated experience in acute and general internal medicine
• Strong communication, teamwork and leadership capabilities
• Commitment to patient‑centred care and continuous improvement
• Interest in regional and rural healthcare delivery
