About the Role

Provide high-quality gastroenterology services across a large and diverse regional population. The role includes inpatient, outpatient, and outreach care, supervision of junior medical staff, and participation in teaching and service development. Some remote outreach work, including overnight stays, may be required. International candidates can be considered.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver specialist gastroenterology care.
• Supervise and mentor junior medical staff.
• Participate in outreach services to regional and remote communities.
• Support clinical excellence, teaching, and patient care initiatives.

Essential Criteria

• Eligible for specialist registration in Australia.
• Fellowship or equivalent qualification in Gastroenterology.
• Strong clinical, leadership, and communication skills.
• Commitment to multidisciplinary and culturally sensitive care.
