About the Role

Join a growing Emergency Department at Manning Rural Referral Hospital during an exciting period of development and expansion. With approximately 38,000 presentations annually, this is an opportunity for FACEMs to help shape the future of emergency care, contribute to service development, supervise trainees, and work within a collaborative multidisciplinary team. Both experienced consultants and early-career FACEMs are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality emergency medical care.
• Support department growth, innovation and service improvement.
• Supervise and mentor trainees and junior doctors.
• Participate in teaching, quality improvement and clinical leadership activities.
• Work collaboratively with nursing, medical and allied health teams.

Essential Criteria

• FACEM or equivalent specialist qualification.
• Eligible for specialist registration in Australia.
• Strong clinical, communication and teamwork skills.
• Interest in education, service development and patient-centred care.
