About the Role

A permanent opportunity is available for a Staff Specialist in Emergency Medicine to join a high‑acuity Emergency Department at the major referral hospital for Northern Tasmania.

You’ll provide senior clinical leadership across a diverse caseload including trauma, paediatrics, mental health, and complex medical presentations. The role includes supervision and teaching of junior doctors, participation in quality improvement and governance, and the opportunity to shape the department through your clinical interests.

You’ll work within a supportive and collegial FACEM group in a well‑resourced department with strong inpatient and critical care support.
