About the Role

An opportunity is available for FACEM qualified Emergency Medicine consultants to join a senior-led, well-supported Emergency Department servicing a growing regional population. The department manages approximately 27,000 presentations per year, with a mixed adult and paediatric caseload and strong referral pathways to a nearby tertiary centre.

Clinical shifts are 8 hours, supporting sustainable workloads and reducing fatigue. Staff Specialists receive 25% clinical support time, with opportunities to contribute to education, accreditation, clinical governance, and mentoring. The department has a highly collaborative culture and is preparing for future ACEM training accreditation, offering scope to shape service development and training outcomes.
