A leading regional hospital is seeking a Staff Specialist Cardiologist to join its expanding cardiology service. This is an exciting opportunity to deliver high-quality, patient-centred care across inpatient, outpatient, and outreach settings in a collaborative health environment.

About the Role

• Provide inpatient cardiology consultations and outpatient care.
• Deliver outreach clinics across North-Western Victoria, Lower NSW, and South Australia.
• Conduct and interpret a range of cardiac investigations, supporting the growth of the Clinical Diagnostic Unit.
• Educate and supervise junior doctors and medical students.
• Contribute to service development and quality improvement initiatives.

Skills & Experience

• AHPRA Specialist Registration in Cardiology.
• Experience in:
  • Stress echocardiograms
  • Transoesophageal echocardiograms (TOE)
  • Transthoracic echocardiograms (TTE)
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Credentialing to implant pacemaker devices advantageous.
• Commitment to teaching and mentoring.
