About the Role

An opportunity for a Consultant Anaesthetist to join a regional multidisciplinary team providing anaesthetic services across Mount Gambier and Millicent. You will support surgical, obstetric and critical care services while contributing to clinical leadership, education, quality improvement and research.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality anaesthetic care.
• Participate in the on-call roster.
• Provide clinical leadership and support multidisciplinary teams.
• Teach and mentor junior doctors and medical students.
• Contribute to audit, quality improvement and patient safety activities.
• Participate in research and continuing education.

Essential Criteria

• MBBS or equivalent.
• Specialist registration, or eligibility, with the Medical Board of Australia.
• FANZCA or equivalent specialist qualification.
• Experience in contemporary anaesthetic practice.
• Strong communication, leadership and clinical decision-making skills.
