About the Role

Join a modern Level 4 rural referral hospital with four contemporary operating theatres and a broad surgical program. As a Consultant Anaesthetist, you will provide anaesthetic services across elective, urgent and emergency procedures while working within a supportive multidisciplinary team. International candidates can be considered.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver anaesthetic care across elective and emergency services.
• Participate in shared perioperative clinics and on-call roster.
• Support Orthopaedics, General Surgery, Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Urology and Dental Surgery.
• Contribute to teaching, quality improvement and patient-centred care.

Essential Criteria

• Primary medical degree eligible for AHPRA registration.
• FANZCA or eligibility via an approved specialist pathway.
• Broad anaesthetic experience across diverse surgical specialties.
• Strong teamwork, communication and clinical leadership skills.
