Job Description:

Locum cover is required for:

On call weekends: - or any available weekends let me know and I can try shuffle things round

• Friday 26th June 0800-Monday 29th June 0800

• Friday 10th July 0800-Monday 13th July 0800 (public holiday weekend) 

• Friday 31st July 0800-Monday 3rd August 0800

• Friday 14th August 0800-Monday 17th August 0800

• Friday 4th September 0800-Monday 7th September 0800

• Friday 18th September 0800-Monday 21st September 0800

• Friday 2nd October 0800-Monday 5th October 0800

• Friday 9th October 0800-Monday 12th October 0800


Week cover: - or part weeks/days 

• Monday 6th July 0800-Thursday 9th July 1700: 1 x on call day + theatres – URGENT, 2 x locums needed

• Monday 13th July 0800-Friday 17th July 1700: 1 x on call day + theatres

• Thursday 3rd September 0800-Friday 4th September 1700: theatre sessions 

• Monday 7th September 0800-Friday 11th September 1700: 1 x on call day + theatres

• Monday 14th September 0800-Friday 18th September 1700: 1 x on call day + theatres

• Monday 28th September 0800-Friday 2nd October 1700: 1 x on call day + theatres

• Monday 5th October 0800-Friday 9th October 1700: 1 x on call day + theatres

Client Description:

Recently having moved into a brand new, fully equipped, purpose built building, this hospital strives to provide the highest standard of 24-hour acute and emergency services. Set in the heart of the Wairarapa region, this teaching hospital provides a full range of secondary medical, surgical and O&G services.

Location Information

The hospital is located in a large town in the Wairarapa region of the North Island, an hour north of Wellington. It has something for everyone and is the perfect base in which to explore the entire Wairarapa region. The rugged Tararua Mountains to the west and the wild Pacific Ocean to the east also help to create a sense of isolation and wonder. The Wairarapa region's wine and food make it a treasure trove for gourmets.
