Senior Staff Specialist / Staff Specialist – Anaesthetics
Location: Bundaberg, Wide Bay region, Queensland
Employment Type: Permanent | Full-time (80 hrs p.f.) or Part-time (hours negotiable)
Salary: Total remuneration package $432,347- $549,694 p.a.

About the Role
This permanent role is ideal for a Senior Staff Specialist or Staff Specialist Anaesthetist seeking a varied scope of practice in a regional referral setting. The position delivers comprehensive anaesthetic services across peri‑operative care, pre‑admission clinics, emergency and procedural work, with participation in on‑call and weekend rosters.
You will join a supportive, collaborative anaesthetics team, contributing to supervision and teaching of registrars and junior doctors, along with involvement in quality improvement and service development activities. Private practice opportunities may be available alongside the public appointment, with support for credentialling and referral pathway development.
