Resident Medical Officer

Locum cover is required for:

• 2 October 2026
• 5 - 8 October 2026
• 20 - 23 October 2026
• 31 October - 4 November 2026
• 14 November 2026

Position Details:

• Role is in relief department, so shifts may vary but will include General Medicine, Obstetrics and Gynaecology departments and will range over days, evenings, nights and weekends included. 
• $100 per hour days / $115 per hour (night shifts)

Please note that all rates are inclusive of superannuation, taxes, and casual loading, where applicable.

Tweed Valley Hospital is a major referral and teaching hospital located in the heart of the Tweed-Byron region. 

Tweed Valley Hospital provides a wide range of inpatient, day only and outpatient services in a brand new, state of the art facility.

Our services include emergency, trauma and critical care, surgical services, cancer services, women’s care and newborn services, paediatric services, renal unit, intensive care, cardiac catheter laboratory, Mental Health inpatient facilities.

Outpatient services are provided from our dedicated Outpatients department in the main hospital building, and include physiotherapy, fracture clinics, antenatal clinics, occupational therapy and paediatric outpatients.
