Resident Medical Officer

About the Role

We’re seeking an experienced Hospital Medical Officer to join a private hospital in Launceston that provides care for medical patients. This is a sole-charge position, so you’ll need to be confident working independently and managing acute situations, including running a code if required. You’ll be supported by an after-hours manager who holds ALS1 certification and knows the hospital well.

Key Requirements

• Ideally PGY4 or above
• Current ALS1 certification
• Ability to manage medical patients independently
• Comfortable leading a code in an emergency
