Registrar / Principal House Officer – Plastic Surgery

Location: Townsville, QLD, Australia

Employment Type: Contract/Temporary, Full-Time

Salary: $5,258.70 - $6,079.80 per fortnight (L4-L9) + 12.75% super + benefits

About the Role

An opportunity for a Registrar/Principal House Officer to join a busy Plastic Surgery department within a major tertiary hospital. The role offers a high level of clinical autonomy, exposure to a broad range of plastic surgery cases, and the opportunity to work within a supportive multidisciplinary team. Successful candidates will be expected to demonstrate sound clinical judgement, decision-making, and teamwork.

Requirements

  • Eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia.
  • Relevant postgraduate clinical experience.
  • Strong clinical, communication, and teamwork skills.
  • Must meet pre-employment and vaccination requirements.
  • International candidates can be considered, subject to registration and eligibility requirements.

Client Description:

This is a 580-bed public tertiary referral hospital located in a city on the north-eastern coast, 350 km south of Cairns.

Location Information

The nearest airport is 4.5 km away which is serviced by daily, hour long flights from Cairns and 2 hour long flights from Brisbane.
