Job Description:
About the Role
- Join our clients Orthopaedic Department, as a training or non-training registrar.
- The employee will provide in-patient, day patient and out-patient care for Orthopaedic patients assigned to them and as directed by the consultants involved.
- Enjoy the benefits of working in a smaller hospital, experience general and acute medicine, with a supportive team of consultants, house officers, medical students and nursing staff.
- Your roster will allow for you to enjoy all that Rotorua has to offer with longer summers and shorter winters.
About you
You will have:
- MCNZ registration and or be eligible for general or provisional general registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand. You can check your eligibility for registration by visiting the Council's website at www.mcnz.org.nz
- a minimum of two years' post qualification experience, and a keen interest in providing acute and general medical care to our community.
Client Description:
This hospital is part of the District Health Board and has a total of 220 beds.

The hospital is a 3-hour drive from Auckland, and 5.5 hours from Wellington.
