Roster: Rotational (inpatient, community, on‑call)

About the Role

An excellent opportunity for a Psychiatry Registrar to join a well‑established regional mental health service, providing care across inpatient, community, and acute settings. This rotational role offers diverse clinical exposure, strong consultant supervision, and progression within the RANZCP pathway.

You will work within a multidisciplinary team, building skills in assessment, treatment planning, and care coordination while supporting safe, patient‑centred outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and manage patients across inpatient and community settings

• Develop and implement treatment and discharge plans

• Participate in ward rounds, clinics, and consultations

• Maintain accurate documentation in line with Mental Health Act requirements

• Support and supervise junior staff and students

• Participate in on‑call rosters and training programs

Essential Criteria

• Medical degree with current AHPRA registration

• Eligible for/enrolled in RANZCP training

• Strong clinical and decision‑making skills

• Ability to work in multidisciplinary teams

• Excellent communication and documentation skills

• Desirable: Psychiatry experience and Mental Health Act knowledge
