Career Medical Officer (Psychiatry)

Employment Type: Permanent, Full‑time (76 hours per fortnight)

Salary: CMO Level 1–7 – $128,750 to $183,340 p.a. (pro rata) + 12% superannuation + salary packaging

We are seeking an experienced Career Medical Officer – Psychiatry to join its Dual Disability Mental Health Service based in Hobart.

Role Summary

Senior non‑training psychiatry role delivering clinical care within a Dual Disability service. The position involves autonomous practice, service planning, teaching, quality improvement, and participation in on‑call services across Mental Health Services as required.

Essential Experience

• Extensive experience in dual disability psychiatry or adult psychiatry
• AHPRA General or Limited Registration
• Ability to work autonomously within a consultant‑led framework
• Strong communication and leadership skills
