Service Registrar – Obstetrics and Gynaecology

• Employment Type: Full-Time, Fixed-Term (February & August 2027 intakes)
• Salary: $125,000 – $220,000

About the Role

Join a supportive Obstetrics and Gynaecology team of six consultants and 4–5 registrars in a busy regional service. You will gain broad exposure across labour ward, wards, antenatal clinics, maternity assessment, and ED consults, working as the first responder with consultant support. The role includes participation in an on-call roster (approx. 1 in 4 weekends and periodic night shifts). Strong teaching culture with accreditation for Certificate in Women’s Health and DRANZCOG training.

The regional hospital has 103 inpatient beds in six wards – surgical, acute psychiatric unit, medical, maternity, paediatrics and a high dependency unit.
