About the Role

You will work across multiple Adelaide sites delivering high-quality geriatric and rehabilitation medicine care under consultant supervision. The role includes comprehensive inpatient management, community geriatric assessments, RACF reviews, and participation in multidisciplinary care. You will also supervise junior doctors and contribute to education, quality improvement and research activities.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Manage acute and subacute geriatric and rehabilitation inpatients
• Provide consults, outreach reviews, and domiciliary visits
• Support patient flow, clinical handover, and discharge planning
• Supervise interns, HMOs and medical students
• Participate in teaching, clinical meetings, and quality improvement initiatives

What We’re Looking For

• Minimum PGY4+ with AHPRA registration
• Strong communication and senior clinical decision-making capability
• Experience in general medicine or geriatric medicine
• Ability to work across multidisciplinary environments and varied clinical settings
