Medicine Registrar

Location: Rotorua, New Zealand

Employment Type: Fixed Term | 6 months

Start Date: 2 August 2027

Salary: NZD $90,000 - $150,000 p.a.

About the Role

An exciting opportunity is available for a Medicine Registrar to join a supportive General Medicine team in Rotorua. You will manage a broad range of medical conditions, provide high-quality inpatient care, and work collaboratively with consultants, junior doctors, nursing staff, and allied health professionals.

This role offers excellent clinical exposure in a busy hospital setting and is ideal for doctors looking to further develop their diagnostic, leadership, and decision-making skills. Participation in rostered shifts, including after-hours and on-call duties, may be required.

This hospital is part of the District Health Board and has a total of 220 beds.
