Job Description:
Registrar Anaesthetic
Location: Launceston, Tasmania
Department: Anaesthetics
Role: Registrar / Provisional Fellow – Anaesthetics
Classification: Medical Practitioner Level 5–11
Contract: Fixed‑term Full‑time (Multiple positions)
Roster: Day worker with on‑call (up to 76 hrs/fortnight)
Start Date: 1 February 2027
Salary: $134,930 – $189,005 p.a. + 12% super + salary packaging
Role Summary
This Provisional Fellowship role is designed exclusively for ANZCA trainees who have completed the Final Fellowship Exam, supporting transition to consultant‑level practice. Fellows gain advanced perioperative experience, regional anaesthesia expertise, and opportunities in education, leadership, research, POM or Simulation.
