New South Wales is currently experiencing various restrictions, which are dependant on your vaccination status.

You can enter New South Wales from interstate provided you have not been to an area of concern within a specified time. Areas of concern are posted on NSW Government border restrictions page. Some states have closed their borders to parts of NSW, please check with each state before entering if you have been in Sydney or NSW recently. You will need to check-in at hospitality and retail venues throughout the state.

If you enter NSW by air or rail, you’ll need to fill out a traveller self-declaration form. People who work or travel within NSW-Victoria border communities don’t need to complete a traveller self-declaration form.

If you are working with remote Aboriginal communities, additional guidelines will be in place. Some businesses will require you to sign in; the easiest way to do this is by using the Service NSW mobile app.
