About the Role

This senior leadership role supports the Clinical Director in delivering high‑quality emergency care and ensuring smooth operational management across the department. You will provide visible clinical leadership, oversee senior rostering, support the supervision of Doctors‑in‑Training, and contribute to departmental planning and policy development. The role includes high‑level clinical responsibilities such as leading MET and Code Blue responses, ensuring appropriate follow‑up of investigations, and maintaining best‑practice standards in all patient care. As Deputy Director, you will be an influential leader within the Emergency Department while helping shape ongoing service development and clinical excellence.
