Clinical Director – Anaesthesia, Pain & Peri‑Operative Services

About the Role

This senior leadership role combines clinical governance with ongoing anaesthetic practice within a large regional tertiary referral service.

As Clinical Director, you will lead the Anaesthesia, Pain and Peri‑Operative Service, with responsibility for clinical quality, service development, workforce leadership and training. You will work collaboratively with other Clinical Directors and executive medical leadership while maintaining a reduced clinical anaesthetic commitment (approximately 0.3 FTE).

The service supports accredited anaesthetic and pain medicine training, acute and chronic pain services, peri‑operative clinics, and expanding theatre infrastructure.

Requirements:

• Specialist AHPRA registration
• FANZCA (or equivalent)
• Demonstrated clinical leadership experience
